Surseen clothing swaps are always so much fun! The energy feels like being in a college dorm but with adults - trading fall clothes with your girlfriends over wine (that's not Franzia)!
Bring fall and transitional summer-to-fall pieces that are no longer serving you and leave with new-to-you items that have you ready for the shifting weather! Enjoy the evening “shopping” over light bites, wine, and great conversation with amazing women in Knoxville.
Upgrade your ticket for $10 to be able to get first dibs on everything in the swap!
How it works:
Register below to reserve your spot. Better yet, tell a few friends to register too and make it a girls’ night out!
Wash and hang at least 10 fall/transitional items in good or excellent condition (no rips, stains, etc.).
Items can include adult clothing, purses, shoes, and accessories. Sizing represented is typically XS - XL.
The more items you bring with you, the more you will be able to take home. To be fair to others, items will be spot checked for condition upon arrival.
Drop off your items, grab a snack and glass of wine, and mingle starting at 5:30 pm.
Our address is 5415 Kingston Pike, Suite D. We are located right next to Wild Honey Records in the Cherokee Village shopping center (same one as the new Pastelitos location) in Bearden.
Start “shopping” around 6:00 pm - add “Priority Pass” upgrade to get the first pass through all the goodies!
Everyone will get a chance at a first pass to try their top 3 items before the floor is opened up to go back for more.

This wardrobe repair workshop from Wear Test Studios will leave you feeling more confident in making your clothes your own!
This one is for the garments that just need a little magic. We’ll explore hand embroidery basics and how to use them to cover a small imperfection, add character, or simply make something you love, even more lovable.
Bring a garment you want to update or practice on provided swatches. Embroidery hoops, thread, and needles will be supplied.
*No experience needed, just a willingness to play! Seasoned sewists welcome too. This series is about building a community, practicing sustainability, reclaiming your wardrobe, and learning the small things that make a big difference.

Taylor Swift Themed Bead Bar Workshop from The Art Haus
Join us for a creative evening of making, connection, and fun at The Art Hausery Bead Bar Workshop at Surseen!
This hands-on experience invites you to design your own Heishi bracelet stack using a large selection of beads, colors, and textures themed around Taylor’s Eras. Come dressed in your favorite Taylor Era for the costume contest Then, move at your own pace, explore your creativity, and leave with wearable pieces you personally designed all while jamming out to Taylor Swift music, and enjoying a dirty soda bar, light bites, and a private and discounted shopping event.
What to expect:
• A fun, girl-powered, celebratory environment with a Taylor Swift set list, dirty soda bar, snacks, private shopping, costume contest, photo booth, hidden Easter eggs, and more!
• A bead bar with a wide variety of options to create your own friendship bracelets
• Guidance and support as you design and create
• Leave with up to three personalized friendship bracelets inspired by your favorite eras
Who it’s for:
This workshop is designed for adults and school-aged children. Participants will work with small beads and intricate designs, so fine motor skills and attention to detail are helpful for a successful and enjoyable experience. We encourage families to use their best judgment when registering.

This first workshop in the Wardrobe Repair 101 series from Wear Test Studios is sure to be a fun introductory class!
Lost a button and not sure what to do? Or maybe you want to swap something plain for something with personality? In this workshop, you’ll learn essential button techniques, from functional repairs to playful upgrades, so you never have to retire a beloved piece again.
Bring your own garment that needs a button update or you can practice your technique on provided swatches. Buttons and basic sewing supplies will be provided.

Join Alicia from Penny Jane Handmade as she provides all needed materials and guides you through a workshop to make your own coaster - perfect to hold your beverage of choice in this BYOB class. Grab a friend, your favorite drink, and join up to 11 other women for a night of community, conversation, and creativity. Of course, we encourage you to come early to browse the store before settling in for class - an opportunity to be pleasantly delighted by something new twice in one evening.
